We wanted to introduce our efficient space-saving Montar Examination Table that folds up efficiently against the wall but is easily extracted for use when needed.

The Montar is ideal if your examination room is small, or if you are spending less than 50% of your time examining people lying down. This table folds up neatly against the wall, but with the touch of a button on the corded handset, folds out smoothly when needed.
This table is so versatile it can be used in a number of different environments.
Examples of which may be first aid rooms in large organisations, occupational therapy rooms, rehab facilities, and public spaces that require disabled assistance; where patients with poor mobility can get changed. By allowing the table to fold away, this means the table is only used when it needs to be and there is space in the room for other equipment.

High/Low heights at the touch of a button
Once folded down and ready for the patient, this table can lower to 400mm, and has a working height of 1000mm – a real back saver. With this flexibility, a patient can be easily transferred from a moveable bed or stretcher on to the table, or from a seated position if they are not mobile.
The upholstery is industry grade, and the frame is treated with an antibacterial polyester powder coating. The bed comes with a useful dropdown safety rail to keep the person secure on the bed.
The bed can take a maximum weight of 200kg, is 1030 in width and 1880mm in length. It comes in 5 different colours, and can be serviced by existing maintenance staff. For more information and colour options, see our brochure here

Available in kids sizes too!
If you work mainly in paediatric, you can choose to have a paediatric examination table with the same space saving benefits. Similar to the adult size, it comes with a corded handset to allow you to manoeuvre the table from the wall, up and down, a dropdown safety rail. The width is the same as the adult version, but the length is 1400mm.
As usual, CareMed provide a 10 year frame warranty and a 5 year Linak warranty (electronics).
