Successfully working in partnership

Background
Caremed Alrick worked with a unique and singular regional based not-for-profit Aged Care Home providing exceptional care and support to people for more than 25 years. Their 120 private rooms for residents cater for elderly care, dementia patients and for people suffering mental health issues.
Each room is specifically targeted to the person in their care, but designed with a home-feel in mind.

Requirements
Caremed Alrick were approached by an Architect and Interior Design firm who were interested in sourcing a healthcare bed that would suit not only the clinical care needs but also the style and décor of the proposed refurbishment project. As we manufacture here in Australia and can customise, this allowed us to be creative and combine décor with care to also support the required clinical care platforms that were needed throughout the home.

Solution
With our manufacturing capabilities, we were able to meet with all these specifications and use our Premium Care EN series 3-in-1 floor line Aged Care bed and other furniture options, supplying over 70 beds and furniture packages to fit in sympathetically with the design
of the rooms.
Being a refurbishment project in an occupied home with very few spare rooms, the project required various stages and timeline targets to be met.

Outcome
The result was a draw down style supply arrangement with the products all stocked and ready for short notification of supply before the builders moved onto the next batch of rooms and residents were moved. We supported this requirement by creating a close working relationship with the Client and the Projects Progression Teams.

“The team were an absolute pleasure to work alongside. The residents are now enjoying the amazing results of the dedicated input and a challenging project period.”
